BIOS

Download the latest BIOS update for ABIT BE6. Changelog is included below. For flashing the BIOS use awdflash 8.99 (DOS), AwardBIOS Winflash 1.94 (Windows), UniFlash (DOS) or flashrom (Unix/Linux) which can be found under flash tools. Please pay attention to the prerequisites and precautions.

2000/07/31 - BIOS TH (169 KiB)

Adds support for Celeron II CPU 633 MHz and up to 700MHz.
Fixes the keyboard LED still on issue after shutting down the system under Windows operating system.

2000/06/24 - BIOS QP

Supports PIII 750Mhz, 800Mhz, 850Mhz(100Mhz FSB) CPUs and Celeron 667Mhz, 700(66)Mhz CPUs.

2000/05/26 - BIOS PV

Supports the Celeron 533A(66), 566(66) and 600(66)Mhz CPUs.
Improves the power on function by mouse right/left button after shutting down the system under Win98SE.
Fixes the incorrect memory capacity issue under Linux.
Fixes the ACPI issue under Windows2000.
Improves the IRO assignment function.

1999/11/11 - BIOS PL

Supports PIII 600Mhz(100Mhz FSB), 650(100Mhz FSB) and 700Mhz(100Mhz FSB) CPUs.
Updates HPT 366 BIOS to Rev. 1.21.

1999/11/06 - BIOS NU

Supports the Celeron 533Mhz(66Mhz FSB) CPU.
Updates the BIOS or the HPT 366 controller to version 1.2.
Fixes the boot failure issue with SCO UNIX.
Fixes the system hang up issue when the ESCD record is incorrect.

1999/08/27 - BIOS MU

Supports the PIII 600(100)Mhz CPU.
Supports Socket 370 Celeron 500 Mhz CPU.
Fixes the Y2K RTC problem.
Fixes the password function.
Improves the STD function.
Supports the A, EXT, C option.
Supports 40GB harddisks and above, However we aren't quite sure what the precise capacity is, since the current maximum harddisk on the market is 40GB.
